• Standard 52-card deck, no jokers, spades always trump
• You and your partner bid how many tricks you will win together
• Follow suit when you can; nobody reneges here
• Spades can't be led until spades are broken
• Make your bid to score, go Nil or Blind Nil for big bonuses
• Watch your bags: too many and they cost you points
• First team to 500 wins
