Simple Notes is an easy-to-use notes app that leaves out the extras, so writing, organising, and finding notes stay simple.
Notes go into colour-coded folders, and you can find them from the calendar or the photo album. No account or setup is required, and the app works offline.

■ Add Photos to Notes
Attach images to any note. Pick pictures saved on your phone, or take a photo on the spot.

■ Full-Note Image & PDF
Turn a whole note, even a long one with photos, into one image with a tap, or export it as a PDF for work or school.

■ Folder Organisation
Sort notes into folders with 24 colours to tell categories apart at a glance. Free users get up to 7 folders. Premium removes the limit.

■ Calendar View
Tap a date on the built-in calendar to see that day's notes. Set the start of the week and choose which days count as days off.

■ Photo Album
Browse every image added to notes in one place, and tap one to jump to its note.

■ Home Screen Widget
Pin a note to your Home screen like a sticky note. Choose the note to display, its text size, text colour and background opacity. Widgets are part of the Premium Service.

■ Sort Notes & Bullet Lists
Sort by note date, date edited, date created, or title, ascending or descending. Bullet lists suit shopping lists.

■ Trash
Deleted notes stay in the Trash for 60 days, so you can restore them. Empty the Trash to delete them right away.

■ Passcode Lock
Protect your notes with a passcode. Fingerprint and face unlock are not supported.

■ Theme Colours
Pick from 23 theme colours, including dark themes for night use. Some themes are part of the Premium Service.

■ Smart Search
Find notes fast with search. Type "#Important" in a note to find it later.

■ Text Display Settings
Adjust text size, weight, and line spacing to suit your eyes.

■ Character Count
See the character count as you write. Each note holds up to 100,000 characters.

■ Google Drive Backup
Back up your notes to Google Drive with your Google Account and restore them on a new phone. Data cannot be transferred between the Android and iOS versions.

■ Data Export (Premium)
Export notes as a ZIP file in HTML (for Windows) or TXT. Keep them on your computer, hand them to AI apps for summaries, or save them to Notion or Google Drive.

■ Remove Ads (Premium)
Premium hides all ads for a clean, distraction-free screen.

[Important Note]
Notes are stored on your device, so deleting the app deletes them. Create a Google Drive backup before switching phones.
