About this app

Pliam is an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) companion. It helps you make room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, and take small, workable steps toward the life you actually want.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Paths — 20 guided programs, one short session at a time: ACT Foundations, Anxiety & Worry, Low Mood, Stress & Overwhelm, Sleep, Grief, The Inner Critic, Relationships, Parenting, Living with Pain and more.
• Quick practices — two-minute tools for the moment you're in: unhook from a thought, drop anchor, the willingness dial, the ACT Matrix.
• Metaphors — 30 small stories with films for the moments that hook you, from the beach ball underwater to leaves on a stream.
• Meditations and breathing — a library of guided recordings and paced breathing patterns.
• Daily check-in — how are you arriving, and how open can you be to today, as it is?
• Values compass — sort what matters, see how you've been living it, and plan a step toward it.
• Flex Profile — see how flexibly you're meeting life across the six ACT skills, and watch it change.
• Insights — gentle patterns from your entries, never scores or grades.
• Mira — an AI ACT coach you can talk to in the moment. Mira invites, never argues, and points you to help if you need it.

Pliam is light and dark, works offline, and keeps your entries on your device and in your account. Everything is written in plain, kind language, grounded in the ACT model.

Pliam is a self-help companion, not a substitute for professional or crisis care. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line — the app shows the right one for your country.

PREMIUM
Some paths, tools and Mira are part of Pliam Premium, a subscription you can cancel anytime. The first path and a set of practices are always free.
Make room for hard feelings. ACT paths, practices, metaphors & an AI coach.

At first thought is a pretty basic app. Then as I dug into it, realized there's so much in it. The lessons are really awesome and explains ACT clearly. Love the exercises and also the tracking on when I did them, how long and my feedback - which lets me review how did in the past. There a lot of great analytical features. The two I really love are streak (keeps me grounded) and correlations - which pretty much sums my moods

Seems useful so far but there are a ton of typos throughout the materials (basically every page I've looked at). It's still readble but super obvious things like extra letters in words, missing spaces, etc. Please have someone proofread everything because it's things likehf thiis that are very oobvious and distracting. If I'm going to pay for this I expect it to be better.

Love this app. It is simple and easy to use. I can do mood, emotion and journal entries and track my sleep and medications daily. k love that it is all based on proven evidence based modality. The affirmations help me when I am down. Also my therapist recently said she loves this app too and said with proper setup she can see my entries in her app. Looking forward to work with my therapist and using this. Still learning and so far I am impressed.
