Buff Knight is a retro pixel action RPG runner you can play offline, with no ads. Your knight charges forward on his own and fights every monster he bumps into. You tap to cast spells, drink potions, open treasure chests and strike monsters in the air. Every death sends you to the shop, and every upgrade carries you further toward the Red Dragon.
👑 THE STORY
Long ago, the Red Dragon stormed the Kingdom of Buff and stole its 10 treasures, and in the chaos the beautiful Princess vanished. Grab your sword, charge through monster-filled lands and bring back the treasures and the Princess!
🎮 EASY TO START, HARD TO PUT DOWN
• One-touch controls: run, bump into monsters, fight
• Tap flying angels and fairies for gold and items
• Short runs, perfect for a quick break or a long session
💪 STRONGER WITH EVERY DEATH
• Your stats stay when you fall: die, visit the shop, jump right back in
• Raise Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Endurance
• Upgrade and enchant 7 gear slots: weapon, shield, helmet, armor, gloves, pants and shoes
• Play as a sword-swinging Knight or a spell-blasting Sorceress
💎 20 HIDDEN ARTIFACTS
• 10 legendary treasures in Story Mode: 4 from the Dragon, 6 behind secret conditions
• 10 more in Endless Mode, each upgradable up to Lv.10
• Cryptic hints point the way. Can you find them all?

You can't get to upgrade menu without playing a round first. Secondly why the hell would I ever use skill points to buy one use potions. Third, the speed up should be a reward for progressing in the game, as there is zero reason to ever be on 1x or 2x speed. Fourth, enchanting is useless because you lose the enchants every time you upgrade, and the cost is too high. Fifth, magic feels awful to use. 3 times then potion? Sixth, give us more game modes. Lastly, NO IDLE PROGRESS, in an idle game.

Healing potion, mana potion, single spell. That's the entirety of the game play. Yes, you can upgrade your stats and gear, andearn *artifacts*. But that just scales you up. So you can do the exact same boring thing just longer. Play this for five minutes, and you've basically experienced everything this game has to offer. I have NO idea how this is rated so high.

One of the best time killers on the app store. While there isn't much thinking to be done while playing(which would usually be a deal breaker for me), it still manages to be highly addictive. In endless mode there are countless upgrades (to abilities and equipment) to be had, which keeps it enjoyable longer than one would expect. Definitely recommend this game.
