Sawmill Planner: Cut Plans

Sawmill Planner is the band-mill operator's app: type the log, get the cutting pattern with blade heights, saw step by step, and show the boss a shift report at the end of the day. Works offline, with gloves on.

CUT PLAN
Enter the small-end diameter and the length. Get three patterns: by plan, max yield, fewer cuts. The end view shows every board and slab, with pieces, yield and lumber volume.

STEP BY STEP (PRO)
The blade height for every cut, big enough to read from the mill. The log turns on screen the way it lies on the saw. Tap anywhere for the next step; the screen stays on.

RECORD WHAT CAME OUT (PRO)
Square boards go to the shift. Flitches with wane go to a pile by size, to edge later on the band mill or sell unedged.

PRODUCTION PLAN (PRO)
Pieces per size the boss asked for. Patterns go for those sizes first, and the plan fills up as you saw.

SHIFT REPORT (PRO)
Logs sawn, round wood, lumber, yield and plan done on one screen. Share it as a picture.
