Gothic Story RPG is a medieval top-down RPG made by a solo developer.
I wanted to create a game with the feeling of an old-school adventure — a world where you can explore, take quests, fight enemies, find secrets, and slowly become stronger.
In the game, you can complete story missions, help different characters, take hunting orders, fight in the arena, search for treasures, and explore dangerous dungeons. You can also open locked chests using lockpicks, gather resources, trade items, upgrade your gear, learn new skills, build your own house, and help improve the village.
The game is still growing, and I keep adding new content, quests, enemies, items, and improvements over time.
If you enjoy medieval RPGs with exploration, danger, secrets, and a bit of old-school atmosphere, I hope Gothic Story RPG will give you a fun adventure.

The bug has been fixed, or the problem resolved itself, not sure which. Still an absolutely great game, once again have reached the end of my progress with both quests, and waiting on the update. I will continue to harvest resources, hint monsters, accept Hunter's Quests, and level up until the next update. Patiently looking forward to a continuing to be great game.

I never write reviews but this is the cutest lil game. I keep finding myself checking to see if it's been updated. the only tiny issue is that the main quest says "deal with guards" but I can't find them. the side quests say wait for update. also imo, the mini map either needs to be a little bigger, or be able to click on it to make it full size when u need it. not a deal breaker at all. my middle aged eyes aren't as sharp lol keep up the good work my dude

I really had a fun time playing the game it's a good way to kill time when their nothing to do in its really fun. I've reached the point of waiting on the next update I can't wait to see what's next. the best part of the game is the story telling. it's crazy it's designed by one person in he puts more time in to it then some whole teams I've seen in other games. really recommend it to anyone.
