About this game

What choices will you make in your NewLife?

Will you rise from nothing through grit and sacrifice? Forging a legacy as a self-made business owner, a celebrated artist, or a pillar of your community?
Or will you chase wild ambition at any cost, gamble on risky shortcuts, and betray those closest to you, burning bright before the fall?

From career-defining choices and heart-wrenching family dilemmas to moral crossroads and once-in-a-lifetime chances at love or power, every decision shapes the extraordinary story only you can live. What kind of life will you build?

NewLife is a hybrid media-based life simulator where every choice you make writes your story as you grow up. Live a full life from birth to death, but this digital life runs straight through some of the real human struggles we all face in our everyday lives. Your choices. Your path. Your legacy.

The stories you will encounter are told through stunning static visuals, engaging milestone videos & in depth text. The path you decide to take early in your life will influence later events & characters who approach you. Choose wisely.

LIVE A LIFE IN THE GAME:
- Start with nothing and shape your own destiny, one year at a time.
- Manage: Health, Happiness, IQ & Style, while you watch your Money and your Heat.
- Every year deals a new event: an opportunity, a temptation, a set-up, or a reckoning.
- Make choices that change your family, your crew, your reputation, and your future.
- Role-play any path: earner, enforcer, dealer, thief, boss, or the one who walks away.

RISE THROUGH THE UNDERWORLD:
- Climb real criminal ladders. Run with a crew, get made in the family, move product, pull heists, or become the muscle.
- Go from corner kid to soldier to capo to Don, or from small-time hustle to citywide kingpin.
- Recruit loyal crew, cut deals, start turf wars, and settle every score.
- Or keep your hands clean. Chase a legit career, earn a degree, and build a quiet life. The straight path is always there, if you can afford it.

EVERY CHOICE HAS A CONSEQUENCE:
- Watch your Heat. The more you take, the harder they look. Get watched, get wanted, get marked.
- Lay low, bribe a cop, lawyer up, or run. But be careful. A record follows you for life.
- Persistent characters remember what you did. Loyalty is earned and betrayal is never forgotten.
- Death is permanent and it's personal. Cinematic endings that replay the life you actually lived.

BUILD A LEGACY THAT OUTLIVES YOU:
- Every run leaves its mark on a cross-life Legacy Board: money, power, heat, legacy, chaos.
- Bury the boss and play as your own child. Inherit the name, the enemies, and the empire.
- Grow a Family crime tree across generations and see how far the bloodline can go.

MAKE THE CALL:
- Play it smart and get out alive, or take every risk and see how big the story gets.
- Betray a partner, protect the family, chase the money, or burn it all to the ground.
- No morality meter, no judgement. Just choices, consequences, and the life you're left holding.

WHY PLAY NEWLIFE?
- Deep, addictive, choice-driven storytelling where every decision matters.
- Endless replayability. Every life is a brand-new story, with different locations, new career paths, and new challenges.
- A gritty, grown-up take on the classic life-sim. Play offline, anywhere. No Wi-Fi needed.
- One life, many choices, an inevitable end. How will you survive?

There is a toggle button in the settings menu to turn off the sounds and the music independently. I hope you're able to find it. We're constantly improving the build, so if you want, you can come back every few weeks, you'll see a completely different game!
