pretty fun and engaging, ads were annoying enough that I paid to remove them (11$ USD is way more than any other game i've bought the ad free version of, but whatever). Number 1 complaint is that the hints will reveal items i'm NOT looking for (greek vase, daily combos, etc.) instead of what I'm obviously using the hint for (the last 1-2 items in a level so I can complete it.) this happens so frequently that I just quit the game in frustration for the rest of the day. It's just a bad experience.

The game is awesome. So awesome that I actually paid to remove the ads. then I had a bunch of problems, I walked away from it, then came back at the beginning of '26 and it's better than ever! they fixed the synchronizing of google and the app, so it acknowledges that i bought ad free.. they've made the game playable again - while also adding more maps and more journeys! I'm loving the events as well!

The navigation style, controls, and art are all pretty great. The ads are a nightmare -- every 20 seconds or so, 5-40 seconds of ads. About a fifth of the ads are formatted wrong for mobile, so even when they've run their course, you can't get at the X to close the ad, you have to close the whole app. They should just make it pay only; abusing the free player just makes me want to uninstall and leave a negative review, not upgrade.
