♿ HOW 365 SCREEN TIME USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
365 Screen Time is a screen time blocker, not an accessibility aid. It uses Android's AccessibilityService API for one thing: to know the moment an app you have limited comes to the front, so your block screen can be drawn over it before you start using it. The service reads the package name of the app that owns the active window. It reads no window content — never your screen, your messages, your typing or anything inside any app. That package name is used on your phone, in the moment, and is not collected, sent anywhere, shared or sold. The app explains this and asks you before it ever requests the permission, and the grant is optional: decline and the rest of the app still works, with blocking off.
