Brass Lotus Watch Face

A 3D animated analog watch face for Wear OS: a mechanical lotus of twelve polished brass petals lies open on dark teak, each petal an hour. Every petal is cupped and pointed, with a raised midrib and rolled edges, and catches the light along its curve, darker deep in its cup, round a domed seed pod ringed with stamens. As the hour turns, the flower folds into a closed bud and opens again.

• On the hour the petals fold up into a bud while the flower turns, pause, and open again one by one, a ripple running round the ring.

• Blackened steel hands with a bright metal edge stand out over the polished petals.
• Steps, unread notifications and battery are engraved on small leaves lying on the flower at 9, 6 and 3, with the date on a leaf at 12.
• The flower moves only on a tap and on the hour.

• Three complications: steps, unread notifications and battery; choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor. Another app's complication shows its icon and value; set a slot to Empty and its leaf goes away.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
Always-on shows only the hour marks and the hands, dim on black.

1. Install it from Google Play on your watch, or tap Install on my watch in the phone app.
2. Touch and hold your watch face, swipe to The Brass Lotus and tap it. To customize, touch and hold it, then tap Customize.
