Wooden Blocks 3D Watch Face

A 3D animated wooden blocks watch face for Wear OS: the digital time is built from four wooden toy blocks on a light-oak table, each digit carved deep into a block's front. Two blocks stand on the table for the minutes and two more sit on top of them for the hours. Every block is a real solid drawn in perspective, so you see its front, its top and its side, with the grain running round every face and soft shadows on the table and in the gaps where the blocks touch.

KEY FEATURES
• Blocks that turn: every new minute, the block that changes spins a quarter turn and the new digit comes round from its side to the front.
• The tens and the hours turn only when they change, and the hour blocks give a little hop as they spin.
• Tap to knock the table: a puff of sawdust jumps at the foot of the stack and light runs over the blocks.
• Three woods: pale, honey-colored beech with dark carved digits, dark walnut with cream digits, or painted blocks, each a different soft color with white digits.
• The date is carved on a small beech tile in front of the blocks, and your readings sit on small tiles round the stack.
• Nothing moves between minutes: a turn plays for about a second and the knock only on a tap, so it is easy on the battery.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Wood: beech, walnut or painted.
• Time: 12- or 24-hour, as your watch is set; hours below 10 stand on a single block.
• Three complications: unread notifications, steps and battery, each carved on its own small tile. Put another app's complication there and it shows that app's icon; set a slot to Empty and its tile goes away.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
Always-on shows only the outlines of the blocks' fronts and their digits, dim on black.

COMPATIBILITY
Works on Wear OS 6 or later, such as Galaxy Watch models updated to One UI 8 Watch and Pixel Watch. Made in Watch Face Format: no permissions, no data collected.
