About this app

"Yesterday, Bop jumped over the log." "Tomorrow, Béa will plant a seed."

Verb Hop helps children aged 5 to 8 hear and use the right verb form for the right time. Two rabbits, Bop and Béa, act out 50 everyday verbs, each in a picture for yesterday, now and tomorrow, and an every-day picture for habits.

How it works
• Look at the picture and listen to the question.
• Pick the sentence that fits: "jumped", "is jumping" or "will jump".
• Then say the sentence yourself. Verb Hop listens on the device and cheers when you say it right.
• In the speaking game, hear a sentence and say it back.

Made for young children
• Every word is spoken by a real voice, so children who cannot read yet can play.
• American or British English, your choice.
• Gentle hints, never "wrong!".
• Common mistakes like "runned" and "eated" are taught, not punished.
• Instructions in English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese or Korean, with more languages on the way.

Made for parents
• A Parents area with each child's progress, minutes played and the verbs they know.
• No ads. No accounts. No tracking.
• Voice recordings are checked on the device and never saved or sent.
• A Send feedback button that reaches us directly.

Try 4 verbs free, then unlock all 50 with one purchase.
Yesterday, now or tomorrow? Kids 5–8 pick the right verb, then say it aloud.

What’s new

On phones the picture now makes room, so all three sentences, the hint and the buttons are always on screen. After the right answer the sentence shows once, with its stars.
