Easy Area: Land Area Measure

Measure land, fields and plots on a GPS map or on a photo of your plan. Walk the boundary with GPS, tap corners on satellite view, or type the sides from your deed and Easy Area draws the plot and works out the area — in acre, hectare, bigha, biswa, guntha, kanal, marla, cent, sq ft, sq m and your own units.

MEASURE ON THE MAP
• Tap corners on the satellite map, or walk the field and let GPS place the corners
• Area, perimeter and every side length shown live as you draw
• Distance and path measurement for roads, fences and pipelines
• Search a village or address, or paste a Google Maps link or lat,lng to jump there
• Coordinates of any corner in DD, DMS or UTM, and the bearing of every side
• Walk to a corner: follow a live arrow and distance to any corner of a saved plot, then move it to where you stand
• Compass on the map, markers (POI) with photos and notes, GPS accuracy shown on screen

PLOT FROM DIMENSIONS
• Type length × breadth, or the sides and diagonals, or sides and angles, and the app draws the exact plot
• Fit a shape you already drew to the lengths written on the paper

MEASURE ON A PHOTO OR PLAN
• Import a photo, scanned map, PDF plan or patwari sketch and draw on it
• Set the scale from one known distance or from the map sheet scale
• Lay two map sheets on the satellite map and match them, each with its own place, turn and fade
• Measure from a photo: shoot a floor, wall or small plot and read its sizes off the picture

DRAW, DIVIDE AND PLAN
• Move corners, add points on any side, set any side length or corner angle
• Snap to corners while drawing; pencil tool for freehand shapes and cuts
