Does the basic things well such as showing your daily usage and costs. But fails when asked to do anything. Although I signed up to their 12 month payment plan and the app confirmed I had, my next bill showed I was on the basic plan. Also although it says you can request a refund of your credit balance online, you actually cannot do this unless your account is 'billed up to date' whatever that means.

The app itself is decent, but the customer support is terrible, which alone makes me want to switch providers. When I submit a support request through the app, they might not respond at all or take a week to respond. Even then, they almost always respond with the same standard questions and then disappear again. My experience with Octupus was negative.

A little bit of turmoil since the introduction of the charge cap seems to de decending into a complete farce. The app is now full of "magic meat" - with items you can click that no longer work, with pretty much the same info duplicated elsewhere. With octopus no longer providing detailed bills, it'd be nice if the data that can be viewed in the app could be downloaded - but it can't. Charging slots no longer work correctly, and billing is completely opaque - A complete disaster!
