Into the Roaring Fork

Aspen, 1985. One bad decision is about to send Alex Cavanaugh deep into the Rockies—and into far more trouble than he ever imagined.

Fresh out of college, twenty-two-year-old Alex Cavanaugh heads west with his girlfriend, Erin, determined to build a new life in Aspen. But paradise comes with a price. Jobs are easy to find. Affordable housing isn’t.

Then Alex is offered a way out: carry sixty pounds of c☠️caine through the rugged Colorado backcountry and walk away with $14,000.

One trip. Easy money. No questions asked.

Alex knows he should say no.

He doesn’t.

What begins as a simple trek into the White River National Forest soon turns dangerous, leaving Alex deep in the wilderness and caught up in something far worse than the crime he came there to commit.

Set against the breathtaking wilderness and reckless excess of 1980s Aspen, Into the Roaring Fork is a gripping thriller about temptation, survival, and the consequences of one very bad decision.

Some journeys change your life. Others make you fight to keep it.
