Run: An Emma Caldridge Novella: The Final Episode

But beneath the city's pristine surface, a bizarre and insular cult operates in full force. Led by the reclusive Emmet Shaw, the Supreme Son sect enforces obedience through armed mountain patrols and local intimidation.

With a rogue posse hunting her across the foothills, Emma has to outrun pickup convoys, navigate steep shale trails, and locate the captive analyst — without getting trapped in the crossfire.

Ryan is running out of time, locked in a stifling root cellar beneath the ranch house.

Somehow, Emma must find a way to infiltrate the compound, save Ryan, and get them both out of there . . . preferably alive.

• Race Against Time: Sniper Cameron Sumner and federal assault teams surround the perimeter, leaving Emma only minutes to stage a rescue before an all-out assault begins.

• Small Town Setting: High in the rugged Utah mountains, the benign facade of Sunrise City conceals a compound fortified with sandbag bunkers and tripod-mounted rifles.

• Suspense Thriller: Teaming up with Samantha Yoder, a mountain runaway who knows every hidden ridge and plateau, Emma turns the brutal terrain into a tactical weapon.
