You have an NBCOT COTA date. Hold it. Between now and then: 570 questions, every option explained. Two full-length practice exams at the real 190-item length. A 13-day plan that opens with a 30-item diagnostic. No login, no expiry.
We built this the way a clinical supervisor runs a boards block, not the way a shelf gets filled. We started from NBCOT's 2022 COTA content outline, in force for exams from 2 January 2024. It sets 190 items in a four-hour appointment, scored on a 300 to 600 scale. Collaborate and Gather Information is 27 percent. Select and Implement Interventions is 55 percent, more than the other two domains together. Uphold Professional Standards and Responsibilities is 18. Eight of the thirteen teaching days sit inside that 55. An OTR book will not do this job. The exam tests who implements, grades, observes and reports, under supervision. Check us against NBCOT's published outline. We would rather you did.
What's inside
A 30-item diagnostic split 8 / 17 / 5 across the three domains, not evenly. It aims your hours where the exam spends its items.
570 original questions, all four options explained on every one. Every option, right and wrong, and every item answerable inside the assistant's scope.
Two full-length practice exams at 190 items, both weighted to the same blueprint, so the fourth hour is familiar before it counts.
Eight days inside Domain 2. ADLs and IADLs, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, modalities and skin integrity, pediatrics, mental health, geriatrics, cognition and vision.
Day 12 is scope, supervision and service competency. What you may carry out, what goes back to the supervising therapist, and how it gets established.
The six-option multi-select format taught, not imitated. Three true-or-false judgments share one stem. Every authored item is four-option single-response, so "every option explained" covers every item. Maybe the last book you bought for this was written for the therapist, not the assistant. Give it three evenings. If the diagnostic tells you nothing new about Domain 2, put it down. The cost was an hour.
Three kinds of reader use it. An OTA student with a date booked before fieldwork ends. A graduate waiting on a seat while the material fades. Someone on a retake who wants the weighting done first. If school-based practice is already your day job, start at Day 4.
Day 7 is modalities, contraindications and skin, and nobody enjoys it. You'll get it back on the mock, where those items stop being guesses. Downloaded once, yours to keep.
