About this ebook

Complete and unabridged, with 60 full-page plates by Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema and Walter Sickert. Marsh published it in the same year as Dracula and at first it outsold Stoker's book. This edition binds sixty plates of night-time painting with the novel, among them John Atkinson Grimshaw, Walter Sickert and Petrus van Schendel.
