About this ebook

A strangled prom queen, a suspect with mob ties, and a brutal mystery LAPD Detective Peter Decker refuses to close.

The cruel and bizarre slaying of a beautiful teen leads Detective Decker into the dark heart of an exotic subculture: the seamy, sometimes violent world of Southern California's rootless, affluent youth. But even the confession of a disturbed kid with cold "killer eyes" cannot soothe Decker's inner torment. For he knows in his gut this crime goes much deeper and higher than anyone expects -- and that true justice, brutal and complete, has yet to be done.

Found tied to a cheap hotel bed after prom night, the dead girl leaves behind wild parties and terrified classmates. Her date, an enigmatic teenage cello prodigy, has ties to an organized crime family back east.

He senses the rot spreading behind the security gates of the West Valley, where privileged youth trade in drugs and parents hire lawyers before answering a single question.

Interrogating the victim's circle convinces Decker that fear is driving their silence, masking a conspiracy behind closed doors.

  • Police Procedural: When a senior prom celebration ends with a corpse in room 314 of a cheap motel, Detective Decker must navigate hostile parents and an arrogant suspect who passes a polygraph test without flinching.
  • Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus: Balancing the strains of a grueling homicide investigation with his home life in the canyon, Decker leans on his wife Rina’s sharp insight and moral clarity as the case threatens to consume him.
  • Suspense Thriller: Beneath the glossy surface of teenage excess lies a labyrinth of black-market favors, hidden surveillance cameras, and ruthless family ties that reach across the country to New York.
  • Also by This Author: Bone Box, Murder 101 and The Lost Boys.

Origin of the alphabet; number line, computer is the same place. There isn't a calendar without a programmer; different ones in society are for companies to supply basic utilities; motor vehicles, food clothes & shelter. Computer programs give the answers to outstanding questions; humans do not. They also drive all artificial moving objects; humans do not. One program designs all the building and a different one does cars; the program includes after they are built schedules for them and us. Cameras are a derivative of computer separate from video recorder for unreal pictures and photograph obstructing justice to disappear or vanish includes video tapes & DVD's.
