About this ebook

A BRAND NEW chilling pyschological horror from Michelle Dunne. Perfect for fans of John Marrs, Jason Rekulak and A. R. Torre 🩸👀

Father heard his children scream,

So he threw them in the stream,

Saying as he drowned the third,

Children should be seen, not heard.

When eighty-three-year-old Iris Blake repeatedly calls the police about a phantom child terrorising her home, everyone dismisses it as the confusion of a fading mind.

Everyone except Garda Ava Lewis.

The child Iris describes - curly black hair, saucer-blue eyes, and a distinct teacup-shaped birthmark on her neck - is unmistakable. She is the exact image of nine-year-old Molly Ryan, who vanished without a trace from Windmill Road ten years ago. The unresolved disappearance destroyed Ava's family and drove her sister to suicide.

Drawn into Iris’s dark, decaying house, Ava sets out to uncover whether the haunting is a cruel coincidence, a manifestation of dementia, or a voice from the past.

But as the boundary between memory and madness blurs, digging for the truth might cost Ava everything...
