About this ebook

On a cold, blustery Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge toils in his countinghouse, unable to give a kind word to a single soul. He cares nothing for the spirit of giving, shouting “Bah!” and “Humbug!” at the very mention of the holiday. But four ghostly visitors come to show him a different way, opening Scrooge’s heart to kindness and charity, fraternity and goodwill—a lesson he takes to Christmas and beyond.
  • Ghost Story: Three distinct specters visit the miser in turn—a radiant spirit showing his forgotten youth, a green-robed giant celebrating present joys, and a shrouded phantom revealing a dark fate.
  • Found Family: At Bob Cratchit’s modest hearth, young Tiny Tim and his siblings find immense joy over a humble goose and steaming pudding despite poverty and illness.
  • Unlikely Hero: Hardened by decades of avarice and isolation, old Scrooge must confront his past mistakes and discover whether a lifetime of selfishness can ever be undone.
  • Bedtime Story: Rich with Fezziwig’s lively fiddle tunes and bustling Victorian streets, the complete original text provides young listeners aged 6–10 a memorable holiday read-aloud.
  • Also by This Author: Oliver Twist.
