Heather Texle

Heather Texle is an American science-fiction author who writes sci-fi crime novels featuring high-stakes investigations, spacefaring adventure, and complex characters. Her work blends science fiction and mystery into gritty, fast-paced stories with competent but flawed characters facing difficult choices. She didn’t begin writing until her thirties—proof that it’s never too late to start telling bold, imaginative stories. Inspired by a chance encounter at an author event, she went on to pen her award-winning Reliance Sinclair series, beginning with On Impulse. Drawing on a background in philosophy, law, and martial arts, she brings authenticity and depth to her futuristic worlds. Heather lives in Minnesota where she’s usually busy plotting her next adventure, whether it involves reading, writing, or traveling.
