Mary Losure

Mary Losure is the author of two books of narrative nonfiction for children: The Fairy Ring, or Elsie and Frances Fool the World, which was a Booklist Editors' choice, and Wild Boy: The Real Life of the Savage of Aveyron, which the Wall Street Journal called "absorbing non-fiction.... A beautiful, evocative story." Backwards Moon is her first work of fiction: a fantasy in which the heroines, unlike the author, a resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, are magic, live in the wilderness, and get to fly on broomsticks.
