FolioTether: Receipt Wallet

FolioTether keeps receipts, invoices, warranty cards and manuals with the things they belong to, finds them again by the words printed on them, and reminds you of the return and warranty dates you confirm.

ADD A DOCUMENT
• Take a photo with your camera app, pick photos or PDF files, or share a file from your mail or files app.
• Several photos or files become pages of one document, in the order you choose. Rotate or reorder pages at any time; the stored file is never rewritten.
• The file is copied into the app before anything else, and the original stays where it was.
• Nothing is required: a document without a title, price or date is still kept and searchable.

LINK IT TO WHAT IT IS FOR
• Items with name, brand, model, serial number and location.
• One invoice can belong to two items; deleting one item never removes the document from the other.
• Your own labels, such as kitchen or car.

FIND IT AGAIN
• Search titles, notes, items, serial numbers, labels and the text on every page.
• Text is read on the phone with a bundled engine. It is set up for English and Turkish text.
• Turkish letters match either way: "isik" finds "IŞIK". Serial numbers match with or without dashes.
• Each result says where it matched, and says when some pages are not read yet.

DATES YOU CONFIRM
• Return, warranty end, renewal and other dates are kept separately.
• Dates found in the text are offered as suggestions. "03/04/26" is shown with both readings; you pick.
• Count from a start date: "purchase date plus 24 months", with the number you enter.
• Reminders on the days before that you choose, around the time you choose.

BACK UP AND MOVE
• Export everything as a ZIP: your original files, a manifest and spreadsheet files.
• Make a backup file protected by a password and restore it on a new phone. The app reads every file back after writing it.
• Document pack: one PDF from the documents you select, for a shop or a repair service.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• It does not calculate legal warranty or return periods, and it does not contact shops.
• Text recognition makes mistakes, especially with digits, faded thermal paper and handwriting. Japanese, Arabic and Cyrillic pages are stored and found by title, but their text is not read.
• Reminders arrive on the right day, not at an exact minute; battery saving can delay them.
• A document pack holds only what you select. It is not an official or complete record.
• Uninstalling the app deletes the library. Android cloud backup is off; only a backup file you keep brings it back. A forgotten backup password cannot be recovered.
• The optional app lock controls who can open the app; it is not file encryption.

PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY
• No internet permission. Documents and their text never leave the phone unless you share, export or back them up.
• Notifications: only for the reminders you turn on. Restart: to plan reminders again. Biometric: only for the optional app lock.
• No storage, photo library, camera, location or contacts permission. No account, no analytics.
