SaleTag: Estate Sale Inventory

SaleTag helps estate sale companies photograph, price, tag and track items from the room walkthrough to the final settlement. Walk the house with the camera open, price each item on a wheel, print tags with QR codes, scan or search items at the register and mark them sold, then hand the family a settlement report when the weekend is over.

WHAT IT DOES

The Room Walk
Pick a room and the camera stays open. Frame the item, turn the price wheel, tap a category if it helps and press the shutter: the item is saved with its photo, price and lot number, and the camera is ready for the next one. Undo takes back the last item. Record items and photos with no signal; they upload when the phone reconnects. The register works offline too.

Price tags with QR codes
Print tag sheets for a room or the whole sale on compatible US Letter 30-label or A4 21-label sheets. Each tag carries the price, the lot number, a short description and a QR code. Print only the items that have never had a tag, or every item still for sale.

The register
On sale day, find an item by lot number or a word, or scan its tag, and mark it sold. Markdowns by day, such as 25% off on day 2 and 50% off on day 3, are applied to the price shown. The day's total and count run along the top, and a sale can be put back with one tap.

Sale preview page
Publish a page shoppers can browse before the weekend: the dates, hours, photos by room and prices, with your company's name and phone. The street address can stay hidden until the day before. Items you mark as not public never appear, and nothing changes on the page until you tap Update.

Family settlement
Gross sales, your commission, expenses and the net to the family, with sales by category and by day and what happened to everything that did not sell: left over, held, donated or returned to the family. Share it as a PDF, and export every item as CSV.

Photo descriptions (Pro)
Ask for a one-line description and a category drafted from an item's photo, then keep or edit it. It never guesses a value, age or maker.

Team seats (Pro)
Your sale-day crew joins with a code and works on the same sale from their own phones.

SaleTag keeps your company's own record of items, prices and sales. It does not value or appraise anything, and it is not legal or tax advice. Sale records and photos are stored on SaleTag's servers so every phone on the team and the preview page see the same items.
