SetRunner: DJ Event Planner

SetRunner is a DJ event planner for mobile and wedding DJs. Build wedding timelines, cue sheets, announcements and must-play lists for every booking. On the night, your live Run Sheet shows the clock, the next cue, a countdown and the announcement in large type to read on the mic. Running late? Shift the upcoming cues with one tap while fixed times stay put. Send couples a planning link they fill in from any browser, and collect guest song requests by QR code.

WHAT IT DOES

The Run Sheet
Your live view during the event. The clock, every cue in order, the next one highlighted with a countdown, and the announcement in large type. Tap Done and the next cue moves up. Running late? One tap moves every later cue by 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes, and fixed times such as a venue curfew stay where they are. The must-play list and live guest requests sit beside it, and a keep-the-screen-on switch stops the phone dimming mid-set.

Events
Each booking with the client or couple names, date, venue, start and end, package, fee, deposit and status (enquiry, booked, planned, done). Tonight's event sits at the top.

Templates
Wedding, corporate and birthday templates to start from, each with a timeline and a set of questions. New events start with a copy of your saved template.

The couple's planning link
Send one link. The couple opens it in a browser with no app or account, sets the times of their moments, adds names and how to say them, special dances, must-play and do-not-play songs, answers your questions and writes the announcements to make or avoid. Each save reaches SetRunner straight away. The page is in English and Spanish.

Song request page
Put a QR code on the tables. Guests type a song and a first name and the request lands on your Run Sheet, where you mark it played, decline it or hide it. Close the page between sets with one switch.

Deposits through your own Stripe account
Connect your Stripe account and the planning link shows a Pay the deposit button. The deposit is paid into your connected Stripe account; SetRunner never holds the funds. Cash and transfers can be recorded by hand.

Documents
Run sheet PDF for the venue coordinator and a planning summary. With a Solo or Pro plan, agreement and invoice PDFs built from wording you edit. The agreement is a template, not legal advice.

DJ seats
With Pro, up to three people, the owner included, share the same events and Run Sheets live on their own phones.

The planning link, the request page, deposits and DJ seats are part of Pro. Everything you record stays readable on every plan, and all records export as JSON.

WHO IT IS FOR

Mobile DJs, wedding DJs and small DJ companies who plan weddings, corporate evenings, birthdays and school dances.

SetRunner does not play music or connect to DJ software, and songs are typed in by hand. Events are stored on SetRunner's servers so the couple's link, the request page and every DJ seat see the same plan. The Run Sheet opens from the phone's own copy during a signal drop: ticking off cues and shifting times keep working, and the changes are sent when the connection returns.
